University of Illinois Extension instructor Karen Chan will present Decluttering Your Life on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Is all the STUFF in your life driving you crazy? Learn how to reduce paper and clutter in your home and at work. Discover ways to save hours of time and stress every week. Your sanity may be at stake!

Musaica, a Latin American Ensemble, will perform a fun, lighthearted family concert on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Four talented musicians, Ruth Cavanagh, Susan Conant, Jose Posada, and Clarice Cast, create a terrific mix of Latin flavored world music featuring guitar and a variety of percussion and wind instruments. Bring the whole family and join us for an exciting evening!

Books for Lunch on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. will feature Luanne Bombard from the West Chicago City Museum presenting Immigration: Building a Community. She will discuss the four main immigrant groups of West Chicago: English, German, Irish, and Mexican. She will share their stories along with artifacts and photographs.

The Chocolate! Program is back by popular demand on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Becky and Robert Untiedt of Graham’s Chocolate of Geneva bring their expertise and “samples” for a truly scrumptious time. They will also present the art and history of chocolate making. Sign up early as this program fills up quickly!
