Director of Communications
Education Partners, good afternoon:
- The St. Charles East-North faculty basketball game
planned for April 22, 2005 to benefit the Greater St. Charles Education
Foundation has been cancelled
because of scheduling conflicts.
- Haines Middle
School physical education students raised over $1,300 for the
American Heart Association by participating in the Hoops for Heart
fundraiser. The top three fundraisers were seventh graders Lauren Metts and
Tyrone Grayson, and eighth grader T.J. Metts. Those three were given an
opportunity to go to a future Chicago Bulls game and participate in
pre-game on-court activities, compliments of the American Heart
Association. Congratulations for all for this “healthy” effort.
- The St. Charles
East Girls Soccer Team will host Geneva High School at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the East High School Stadium in the final game of
the Augsburg-Drach Tournament for both teams. Any youth soccer player
wearing his or her soccer uniform will be admitted to the game for free as
part of “Youth Soccer Night” . Adult tickets are $4.
- A special request from the Citizens for Excellence in
Education referendum committee: if you haven’t already, please remove and
dispose of any referendum yard signs.
Have a great weekend,
