The improvements are focused on its South Apron –
Phase 2 Development.
Two new hangar facilities will be ready for air
charter companies Aspen Executive Air (27,000 sq. ft. hangar and 11,000 sq.
ft. office) and IFR (Integrated Flight Resources) Management (28,000 sq. ft.
hangar facility and 3,500 sq. ft. office) this summer.
The T-Bird Aviation hangar will be expanded in
the Fall to house transient customers of
DuPageAirport for a daily fee.

Airfield Improvements Continue
Major improvements to the
DuPageAirport airfield will begin this
Through a $2.5 million grant from the FAA, the
airport will complete rehabilitation to its extensive taxiway and ramp system,
begin a land use Master Plan and begin upgrades to its airfield security.
