"Toastmasters want to ease speaking fears"
WEST CHICAGO – A group of Dupage County Toastmasters have begun meeting to charter a local community Toastmasters Club. The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Effective communication depends on self-confidence, education and practice. Toastmasters overcome their fear of speaking in public by practicing effective communication and leadership skills. Community Clubs are open to the public.
