Roskam to read about Abraham Lincoln to area kids at local library

Springfield, IL – As a means of celebrating President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, Senator Peter Roskam (R-Wheaton) plans to read stories about the 16th President to area children on Saturday, February 12.

“I am a father of four, and so I have a lot of experience reading stories to children,” Roskam said. “It will be a fun day reading stories and learning about President Lincoln on his birthday.”

Senator Roskam will be at the Wheaton Public Library at 11 a.m. on February 12, Lincoln’s birthday, to read Lincoln stories. Any child under the age of 12 is invited and is welcome to attend.

When: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12th.
Where: Wheaton Public Library, located at 225 N Cross Street in Wheaton.
